What up, hunties? I got to see the Solar Eclipse! And I was able to take some good pics of the thing. You best be kissing my ass for these pics, for I had to risk getting my eyes burned and my camera lens busted for them!
When the sun was at its most “covered” in my neck of the woods (Bay Area). Because I’ve never experienced one of these things before, I actually expected it to be, if not totally dark, slightly dusky. But, nope, this is what it looked like when the sun reached maximum coverage here:
By the way, even if this is my backyard, I’m still watermarking the pic. No thieving hos allowed!
How I took these pics: by putting one of my eclipse glasses over the camera lens. I used my regular Sony camera, and I tried shooting it with my hell phone. The pics were shit! So I stuck with my trusted Sony.
Also, since I’m not a morning person, I ended up missing the beginning part of it. Luckily, I was able to catch it when the sun was at its most eclipsed.
So, yay, I got to witness something historic! And I still have my eyesight! Hell, if I can witness the SF Giants fucking up their season in every which way possible, nothing can blind me!
